Islamic Association of Southwest Michigan (IASWM)
Our intention is to bring the community together, establish an Islamic brotherhood/sisterhood, increase our faith and share Islam with our neighbors.
What Are Our Core Values?
We follow the Abrahamic traditions re-established in its originality by the last Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him). According to his teachings, we take pride in serving the poor, the hungry and uplift the community towards greater good.
What Do We Teach?
We use both the Quran and the prophetic tradition as the foundation for our faith and the inspiration for our daily lives. We put those teachings into practice at home and at work.
The Most Beneficent (Allah)!
Has taught (you mankind) the Qur'an (by His Mercy).
He created man.
He taught him eloquent speech.
The sun and the moon run on their fixed courses (exactly) calculated with measured out stages for each (for reckoning, etc.).
.... ..... .....
Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny?
